Raaznet — a Persian-language brand for readers whose safety depends on what the brand does not say out loud
Eight months as Creative Director on a counter-surveillance and digital-rights publication for readers in Iran and the diaspora. Strategy, voice, controlled lexicon, logomark, color, type, motion, bilingual RTL platform, and an AI-assisted production stack that lets contributors ship brand-accurate Persian posts in twenty minutes.
Principles · from confidential engagements
Building trust when transparency is a liability
An organization operating in a politically hostile environment needed institutional credibility without overexposure. The challenge: how do you signal legitimacy to the right audience while remaining invisible to the wrong one?
Replacing the agency model with a system
A content-heavy organization was scaling its output faster than human teams could sustain quality. The solution was not hiring more people — it was redesigning the production architecture around AI-assisted workflows.
Designing for a censorship environment
A platform serving users inside a heavily censored internet needed UX decisions that accounted for surveillance risk, unreliable connectivity, and the cognitive load of operating under digital threat.
Narrative control under pressure
An institution facing hostile public attention needed to communicate credibly during a period of maximum scrutiny. Silence was misread. Overexplanation invited more attack. The challenge was finding the tone that neither collapsed nor escalated.
